SISTERS IN SCRIPTURE:

Exploring the Relationships of Biblical Women

Using prominent biblical women as a means of teaching how to read Scripture intelligently, SISTERS INS CRIPTURE reflects a contemporary view of women as autonomous and as men’s equal. Through reflecting on the stories of thirteen biblical women, participants are invited to explore their own relationship to God and to various others in their own lives.

“What a wonderful gift! Solidly grounded in biblical scholarship and thoroughly texted by women themselves, SISTERS IN SCRIPTURE engages both mind and heart, illuminating ancient texts, as well as nourishing prayer and community. Creative questions and exercises draw connections between scriptural passages and our contemporary experience. Biblical women dwell fully within their own contexts, yet reach across time to grace our lives today.”

We need both and SISTES IN SCRIPTURE gives us both.”
